President Jonathan,a Real Hero

President Jonathan, a true leader with good character. Nigeria is at peace because he let it.He's really the hero in all this. His ambition to be president wasn't worth the bloodshed. He conducted a free, fair and credible election regardless of the outcome. He accepted defeat and set a good example. He's a true leader. We will always remember him as the president who led the most democratic Government.

Congratulations to Nigeria's elected President

The results have finally been read out and Nigeria will soon get a new president, Gen. Mohammadu Buhari who has contested four times, and finally now has victory. Its a very good sign that Nigeria will have peace and move forward, since our initial fear was that the ruling party might win, which might then lead to protest and chaos in the Country by the opposition party. But all thanks to God for how it has all played out, Even President Jonathan is ready to welcome Nigeria's new President, Gen. Mohammadu Buhari. Congrats to the general.

An eyewitness told Punch correspondent that was at the centre around 9pm.
Before the armed men could carry out any attack soldiers stationed around the centre quickly stepped in to face them.
“We don’t know their exact mission. Maybe they have come to kill or just to cause confusion. For whatever reason they have come with arms and ammunition we are grateful that the soldiers sighted them in time and neutralised their attempt,” the witness said preferring to be anonymous.
He however said that two of the armed men escaped. 25 rounds of ammunition were found on them.
The result announcement scheduled for Sunday by INEC, the source said had been postponed.
