Nigerians are urged to resist post election violence


Executive Director, Guard Nigeria Project, Promise Amahah, made the call at a media briefing in Abuja, and said politicians and their supporters should eschew all form of violence instead express their grief at the electoral tribunals, thereby urging Nigerians to resist any temptation that may lead to post election violence.
Amahah, who lamented the declining level of patriotism and love for country among Nigerians said it was imperative for both leaders and followers to demonstrate sense of patriotism for national integration and development.
He said:”Guard Nigeria Project is a noble non-governmental organisation, which comprise concerned and optimistic Nigerians across all ethnic divides and social strata, united by our common identity and love for our nation.
