Quit being so needy and clingy, life's bitch

I was doing a research on public view of needy or clingy people, as I was getting concerned about my personal irritation of clingy ladies and guys. For me, being clingy and too needy does not look good on anyone, be it a girl or a guy, in a relationship or not. It’s plainly annoying. And I think a lot of people agree with me on this too. For example, a lady who wrote about how independent women are more attractive to men, shared this
“As a woman who’s experienced her fair share of personal tragedy and failed relationships, I feel very strongly that a woman should be completely independent of her man.

I don’t mean that you should never let a man do anything for you. Independence to me means being able to take care of my own needs in a healthy manner, with or without a man. Independence promotes self-worth and self-esteem. It also gives you the confidence to walk away from an unfulfilling or abusive relationship”.

That is true. Healthy, confident and secure men are usually attracted to confidence and independence in a woman, before any other thing. And like wise women. Only insecure people look for their type. Clingy, needy, overly submissive, lonely and always need someone to talk to, always a ‘damsel in distress’ waiting for rescue. This does not refer to ladies only, some men act that too, clingy and all, and cover manning up with loving up. How more annoying could that be?

I certainly don’t want to attract a man like that, and I don’t expect anyone to. Both sexes. We all got to get up, be strong, and stand for something.  Else we should get used to being the all cried out, all dried out doormat or discard when he or she trades you for a hotter model.

You don’t want to be in Ciara’s bet you will start loving me lyrics. Great song, but I hate sad stories. Our world is dangerous and unsafe, economy is tough, and so you've got to get up, be strong, be smart, go beyond success and get fulfillment!

Beauty beyond lipsticks

Don't we all have our unique definitions of what beauty is?Yes we sure do, and today am breaking out the circle of those who think beauty is all about how well makeup sits on our pretty faces. Notice i mentioned pretty before face, which literally means beauty is far from the colour of lipstick we put on, and some celebs completely agree with me on that. Check out  'HOTMOM', kourtney kardashian  as she shares a selfie of her natural look. A lady in her thirties looking this young. In as much as we try to cheat nature we cant defeat it.And sad truth is, makeups even make us look older than we really should look.
Rihanna is also a lady who looks elegant on her natural looks.Riri is in her mid-twenties and she doesn't obsess over makeup as most of do.
According to Riri, going without makeup has an interesting feeling attached to it.And i completely agree with her, because as much as i love my lipsticks and liners, any time i go without them, i feel very great and much more confident in myself than i would naturally feel on a usual day. At the end, theres nothing unique about makeups, even monkeys do it.

Beauty is far from the colour of lipstick we put on as shown by Kourtney Kardashian popularly known as HOTMOM as she shares her selfie before going to bed. In as much as we try to cheat nature we can’t defeat it. Kourtney a lady of 35 looking so elegant and young having giving birth, truly remarkable. Talking about Rihanna who has a perfect natural looks and looks good on her make ups likewise.

why not give your natural looks a try today it one of the most intresting thing that has ever happened to me she said and i quote, it has a special feeling attached to it , at the end of the day even the monkeys can testify to it and say

'Sai Baba' celebrators take over Abuja

Ok, something is going on here in Abuja. Looks like celebration in advance of the May 29, 2015 inauguration of President-elect, Major-General Muhammadu Buhari (retd), as his supporters have taken over the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja. Now, Buhari’s change slogan, Sai Baba, Sai Buhari, has been adopted as a way of greeting by residents.
Indeed, the slogan had been popular among Okada riders, market men and women and even in corporate offices even before the March 28 presidential polls.
The slogan went virile on the very day the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared the72-year-old former military dictator as the winner of the election.
Well, right now, if you're not a 'sai Baba' you might not be able to buy or sell. Lol... Aint we all glad? This is a huge moment for Nigerians.
Sai Baba!

See the man who trekked from Lagos to Abuja, finally met with the President elect

Suleiman Hashimu who walked from Lagos to Abuja for 20 days to commemorate the victory of Muhammadu Buhari at the presidential election, has finally met the president-elect. He arrived Abuja four days ago and was welcomed by thousands of people.

The President-elect granted Hashimu an audience in Abuja. Giving details of his journey to the president-elect, he said: “I made a promise because of the love I have for Mr. president that if Buhari should win the 2015 elections, I will trek from Lagos to Abuja which I have done.
I thank God that I made a promise and I fulfilled the promise. “I passed through Kwara and Niger states to Abuja. I was trekking from 6.00am to 6.00pm and anywhere I find myself when it is 6.00pm, I pass the night there.I spent 18 days from Lagos to Abuja.

“Once I found myself inside the bush by 6.00pm and I managed to continue the trek till 9.00pm to a nearby village.

“I made this promise two years ago. I am based in Ibadan and I started my journey from Lagos because Lagos is the most popular city in Nigeria and I started from Berger junction in Lagos.
“I am not bothered about what people think. It is a promise between me and my God. I don’t want anybody to believe me. I left Lagos because I made a promise. Right from Kwara state, I never walked alone for five kilometres. People always walk with me to the next village. I work with aconstruction company based in Ibadan.”

Parents of Abducted Chibok Girls Accuse School Vice-Principal of Aiding Boko Haram

NEWS

Parents of some of the abducted Chibok school girls are accusing the vice-principal of the school the girls attended, Government Girls Secondary School Chibok, of assisting Boko Haram in the abduction of the girls.
The aggrieved parents leveled the allegations while speaking with Sahara Reporters newsmen.

Here is an excerpt from the report:

The parents claimed that the role of the vice principal was at least questionable, adding that their daughters were made vulnerable to Boko Haram kidnappers. Some of the parents leveled the allegations while speaking to a correspondent of SaharaReporters.

A mother of one of the abducted girls, Mariam Abubakar, stated that Vice Principal Yerima Banjiri had told the school girls that any one of them who failed to sleep in the school the night of the abduction would be expelled as a student of Government Girls Secondary School Chibok.

According to her, “A week before their abductions, Malam Yerima threatened the students not to leave for their various homes. He said that whoever went home should forget she was ever a student at the school. He told the girls that none of them should go home, that they must sleep in the school. However, none of the teachers’ daughters or even the daughters of the management staff was among those kidnapped. Only the children of we poor people were asked to sleep in the school. The [teachers and administrators] had kept their children in safer places before Boko Haram arrived.”

The distraught mother accused the vice president and possibly other staff of conniving with Boko Haram. “Our concern is that since the day of [the girls’] abduction, we have never set our eyes on Malam Yerima. He is on run,” Abubakar said…

I guess Kylie Jenner does not care what anybody thinks

The kardashians were having a family dinner on Thursday, at Craig's Restaurant in Los Angeles. And the Kardashians youngest was dressed in what some thought as inappropriate for her age when she was seen arriving with her mother Kris Jenner, sister Kendall, elder step-siblings Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian as well as Scott Disick.

The family were celebrating 19-year-old Kendall's Calvin Klein ads for the #mycalvins Denim Series, with proud Kourtney and Khloe both sharing Instagrams photo of themselves and the model posing in front of a montage of photos.
Kylie wore a black bandeau and spandex-like shorts but opted to cover up with a black and white patterned jacket.
The youngest daughter of Bruce and Kris Jenner accentuated her legs with a pair of black heeled booties. I guess she doesn't  care what the public say, she was with her mum. Wait until you see what mama Kris wore. See pics...

YOUNG, WILD AND FREE, REALLY

Young wild and free
We feel too young and too afraid to be alone in the world, sometime, it’s just a particular person we do not want to be away from, at other times, we just fear being alone in public or anywhere at all, we fear our own thoughts and our company and just need a little distraction, so any one would do. So we find ourselves not selecting friends, company or acquaintances.

We are just everywhere, we are young, wild and free. We eat, drink, and hang out with friends, party, get drunk, smoke, dress the way we like, not caring what we show. If thinking at all, then it’s how to make money and wear some nice designers and keep the body together, after all that is what they see, that is what we present, it don’t matter what is on the inside, no one sees that, and we don’t have to be alone to deal with that. And they say that is how it ought to be, ’young wild and free’ like Khalifa said

"So what we get drunk
So what we smoke weed
We're just having fun
We don't care who sees
So what we go out
That's how it's supposed to be
Living young and wild and free.

Yea true, but why not show some moderation, and own our realities, so that as we get older, and have fewer friends, and might have to spend some time alone, it won’t look like we are cracking up like the song writer Galaghar thought in the song getting older“

It's nine o'clock
I'm getting tired
I'm sick of all my records
And the clothes I bought today
Am I cracking up?
Or just getting older?

Well, I don’t want to spend my life watching, waiting or running scared from what will become after all these beautiful times  am having now, so I take out time to reflect, and construct my own life with my own hands. So I spend some time alone even now that I feel ‘young, wild and free’.
So quit wondering why so am busy, and don’t get mad, I don’t have spare time to hang out with ya’all.  And  I won’t expect you to be jealous when we all get older, and my life remains this beautiful.. cos am doing the work while you’re having the fun. It is no competition, it is my creation.

g For Continuity- Ndigbo

SOCIAL ISSUES
 @skizzyyo
I'm not an army, I'm a movement. Writer in the day, programmer at night.
Oba of Lagos Statement Won't Stop Us From Voting For Continuity- NdigboThe Ndigbo residents in Lagos said despite Oba of Lagos, Rilwan Akiolu‘s Anti Igbo comments on Igbos in the state, they have forgiven him and they will vote for continuity.
The group said the statement is not enough to make them change their minds about voting for continuity of the present administration in the state which they believe will further complement the ongoing transformation in Lagos state.
Chairman of Igbo community in Apapa Engr Gabby Dimude said this while addressing Igbos in Lagos state at a stakeholders forum, Gabby said the investments of the Igbos in the state could not be jeopardized on the ground of the anti-Igbo comments by Oba of Lagos.
According to Gabby, “The Oba’s statement remains unfortunate, but it is not going to be an obstacle for us to vote for APC in the Saturday governorship and state house of assembly elections. Our APC leaders have already replied the Oba. But what I am telling the Igbos in Lagos and Apapa to remain calm. We have put that behind us, though, to err is human to forgive is divine.
“What is at stake is bigger than the statement of the Oba, so we have to stick together first, be part of the winning team so that we can move progressivelyToday is a day of history, the Igbos in Apapa, Igbos in oil and gas, maritime, shipping, clearing and forwarding, the owners of the tankers and all Igbos have accepted and agreed to be part of history by voting for APC.For the first time in the history of Nigeria, Lagos and Abuja will be one in terms of federal and state government, that is why we are here to be part of the history”.
Gabby said the Igbo communities in Apapa have decided to follow Ambode and APC House of Assembly candidates, saying “Our interest stands “our interest stands to be protected if the party wins the elections.”
The group also urged Ambode to ensure that Igbo indigenes are given more slots in his cabinet if he wins the polls on April, 11, 2015.
According to Gabby, “The Igbos must be fully represented in Lagos. We are part and parcel of development in Lagos. We pay our taxes. We have two Igbo brothers in Lagos government, but we need more, they should accommodate more Igbo indigenes in their government election.”

Joined by his much younger girlfriend of two years, Lisa Parigi, the pair looked effortlessly stylish as they returned to California. The couple looked relaxed and happy, but not an assurance of a wedding bell, given that Lionel has been divorced twice and recently told Tinie Tempah 'never get married'

Civilians killed in separate bombings in Afghanistan

Bomb attacks in Afghanistan have killed 16 people in two separate attacks in the country's eastern provinces, officials say.
The Taliban claimed responsibility for a suicide attack on Friday on a convoy carrying US troops near a military base not far from Jalalabad airport. The explosion killed four Afghan civilians.
In a separate incident also on Friday, 12 people were killed in Ghazni province when the minivan they were travelling on was hit by a roadside bomb.
No US soldiers were hurt in the bombing near Jalalabad, security officials told the Associated Press news agency.
The attack happened outside the gates of the base, as a convoy was returning from a patrol, according to an official at the base who spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorised to talk to media.

CAR protesters clash with UN peacekeepers turns deadly

One person has been killed and a dozen others wounded when hundreds of protesters clashed with UN peacekeepers in the Central African Republic, local authorities have said.
The demonstrators on Friday in the town of Kaga-Bandoro, about 350km north of the capital Bangui, were angry that the UN MINUSCA mission had failed to stop raids by ethnic Peuhl pastoralists.
"The protesters attacked the town's aerodrome. To beat them back, the Pakistani blue helmets used tear gas and guns," the town prefect Gaston Yendemo said, adding that the injured had been taken to hospital.
Among those hurt was a Pakistani peacekeeper.
A statement from MINUSCA said up to 400 people, some armed with weapons, attacked the camp. They threw stones at peacekeepers and tried to force their way through the camp barrier, which they set on fire.
"Given the scale of the attack, the blue helmets needed to react by firing in the air. We deplore the death of one person and several injuries among the attackers," it said, adding that it was the second attack in a week against the base.
Thousands have been killed and around a million displaced from their homes in violence that has gripped the impoverished landlocked country since the mainly-Muslim Seleka took power in March 2013.
The group gave up power last year in the face of diplomatic pressure and violence by the "anti-balaka" militia, who are mainly Christian or animist, and an interim government was installed.
