Boko Haram escapees haunted by violence.

More than a million people fled to Maiduguri after their towns were attacked, but they carried the trauma with them


In northeast Nigeria, victims who have escaped from Boko Haram's capitivity speak of murder, rape and other forms of cruelty at the hands of the fighters.
Boys forcefully drafted by the group are among thousands of people who have fled to the city of Maiduguri, where authorities say more than a million people are now homeless.
And as a multinational force begin an onslaught to crush Boko Haram, local authorities say they are preparing for more displaced.
