The All Progressives Congress, APC, standard bearer, Gen. Mohammadu Buhari (rtd) arrived the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja early Friday morning after spending two weeks at the United Kingdom and immediately told reporters who accosted him that he was physically and mentally fit to lead Nigeria.
Buhari had traveled to the UK on Thursday, February 19, 2015.
The trip was however trailed by arguments concerning his health status as supporters of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and President Goodluck Jonathan led by Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti State claimed that the journey was to allow him seek medical attention in London. But Gen Buhari has assured us that he is physically and mentally fit to head the country.
